Testimonials
” The way up, is really a program like no other. I love that it’s a live in, working program. When I
was originally looking for a program, all I could find is 90 day inpatient and when you’re done
you’re on your own. At the way, not only are you getting a biblically based program, but you also
have to go out in the real world and get a job which allows for you to have a safe place to
come home to and preparing you for when you’re ready to have a independent life, freed
from your old self. I was super blessed at the Up program. They provided all the classes
required from social services. I regain custody of both of my children while living there. I lived
there for two years and now know what it’s like to live a clean life. thanks to this program I have
a relationship with Jesus Christ and I have a forever family. “

“ I remember the day we came and met Kurt, he said something that really resonated with me. He said that they were the place for the broken toys that nobody wanted. That was a real low time in my life and I completely related. But I’ve always had a strong faith in
God, so this place really attracted me because of that. Because there was a place that I felt like even though I was a mess, they would still take me in my brokenness. They were kind to my family and I, they provided structure, gentle structure, loving structure. And I believe my relationship with God was really strengthened there. Since I’ve been there I have been
able to share wonderful memories with my children and I have learned to accept the woman that God wants me to be. Anybody who goes there, you’re not just forgotten when they exit. There’s a family bond that even though it’s been years since I’ve been there, they still continually pray for us and are there for us when we need it. Thank you so much for everything that you’ve done for us we love you! “

“ My name is Jose Darosa and my wife Roxanne Darosa we came to the Program in 2019. She came in 2018 and we came. We were broken people, our life’s were unmanageable and we came in and we decided to do the program and attend church and let the Lord work in our lives and through those actions and through submitting our will to the Lord and following directions and working my steps the program Was able to guide me and support me and uplift me and the way I should go in the ways of the Lord being sober and securing salvation. I thank the program tremendously for the opportunity to get my life in order, get my marriage in order and get my family together, I am proud to be part of the program a board member of the program. Part of the church and outreach it does for the community and I’m thankful for the opportunity that God is giving me to restore my life and to be a husband to be a father, to be an employee, to pay my taxes , to be a service to the community to be able to mend broken relationships with family, to be an example to others and just thankful for the work the Lord has done in our lives. We are extremely grateful. ”
