Western Avenue Church of Christ
The Western Avenue Church of Christ is a family-oriented fellowship of Bible-believing
Christians. We believe in diligently studying God’s Word for truth and guidance. We practice
Baptism and the Lord’s Supper as Jesus Christ commanded. We also believe in singing praise
and worship, prayer, and giving as essential to practicing our faith.
Unity and fellowship are essential to the Western Avenue Church of Christ. We have
monthly potluck meals and men’s and women’s fellowship breakfasts. We also have a small
group monthly in our homes, and we enjoy fellowship through recreation and other activities.
The Western Avenue Church of Christ believes that Jesus Christ called His disciples to
help meet the needs of the poor. We have ministers available after services to meet with the
public, and we offer a food pantry open to the public on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The ministers and bible teachers at the Western Avenue Church of Christ voluntarily
teach God’s Word to the participants of the Way Up program that the Christian Action
Corporation administers, and those bible studies, including church and program classes, are open
to the public. The Western Avenue Church of Christ leases the chapel and related facilities from
the Orange County Christian School for its congregation.
